When you take your first step toward restoring native habitat in your yard, you become eligible to display a “Nature in My Backyard” sign, proudly marked with a “Garden in Progress” sticker.
As you continue your efforts and remove all invasive plants, you’ll be able to remove the sticker — showcasing your commitment to creating a healthy, native ecosystem.
Why display a sign?
The sign is an important step in our program — to help spread the word to others and:
- Inspire Others: Your sign encourages neighbors to learn more and take action in their own yards.
- Support the Cause: This fee covers the cost of the sign, but any extra donation goes directly to support the Nature in My Backyard program — helping expand our outreach, and impact.
- Be a Local Leader: Sharing your journey helps grow a community of native habitat advocates.
Our beautiful sign is $25.
